Update.....

Have been very busy for the last few months preparing for The Reggae Film Festival 2008,(Feb.20th-22nd) Kingston, Jamaica, which i am co-organizing along with Barbara Blake Hannah of the Jamaica Film academy. You can get more info on this over at the official website www.jamaicafilmacademy.org

There's lots of film news as always, just not had much time to post up recently. So first off we have a brand new 3 part TV show all about Roger Steffens and his amazing reggae collection, this is going to be aired only in New York but the good news is that you can catch the online stream of this show in lower quality but very watchable, i will post up the info on this a bit nearer the time as no info has been released just yet. The 3 part show will talk about Rogers huge collection of Bob Marley related material and i''m pretty sure it will cover the proposed move of this collection over to Jamaica sometime soon, so will be nice to have an update on this. Each show is 30mins long, more info on this one soon.

New reggae documentary 'More Fire' will soon be complete, this one comes from Roan Films and more info on the film can be found over on the old film list linked to the right of this page.

Muscially Mad, the Reggae Sound System documentary from swedish film makers is also not far away from completion, i know they have been working very hard on this one and i know everyone is looking forward to this, so something to look out for soon.

Also a new documentary from the producer of Perry Henzells film 'No Place Like Home', i hope to have more info on this soon, it's about Jamaican people which is narrated by Pery himself, so another special film to look out for, more on this soon.

I must mention www.onreggaetv.com this is an excellent Reggae TV series in the US, made by Rich Demaio AKA Mr.Rich, he's been putting out some wonderful episodes of his monthly show 'On Reggae TV', you can watch the full shows over on his website. He's had lots of very well knows reggae artists on the show, i personally like this show alot as it tends to deal more with roots reggae which is what i like best. He's had guests like, Ras Michael, Roger Steffens, The Wailing Souls +lots more.
